About us
We live where you want to go
Tanzania Birding and Beyond Safaris, is a locally owned specialized birding and wildlife photographic tour operator headquartered in Arusha, Tanzania. Tanzania is our home and our specialty. We also have the experience and capacity to operate regionally to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, and Madagascar.

"There is always one more bird you have never seen."
That is what our guides say, and it explains how the company works: every trip is treated as a serious search, not a transfer between viewpoints.
What makes us unique is accumulated experience: knowing which patch of woodland holds what in which season, which track is still passable after rain, when to simply wait quietly. Those judgements cannot be outsourced.

For guests from Taiwan & Asia
We run a Taiwan and Asia Representative that discusses dates, budget, pace and target species with you directly in Chinese, and a Chinese-speaking tour leader can be added to your trip. For older first-time visitors to Africa and for birding-club groups, that removes most of the language and preparation pressure.
